Texas Hills Vineyard

We stumbled on this location on our way home from Pedernales Falls State Park, and we are so glad we stopped! Mary and Vanessa were so nice and informative while we did our wine tasting. They are also dog friendly, so we were able to sit outside with our pup while enjoying the wine and scenery. I’d highly recommend this vineyard to any outdoor and wine lovers!

We had the pleasure of stopping here on our bus tour through wine country on their 20th anniversary yesterday. The venue is beautiful! The had the largest vinyard (30 acres) of all the stops and said they grow 60% of their grapes on site. Across from the vinyard was a beautiful property, wine bar, shop, and outside patio. We started with a tour in the back hosted by there owner. He was a very charismatic and knowledgeable man who shared his as well as the vinyards history. He gave us details about each wine as another staff member poured them to our group. Afterwards we poured ourselves into the wine tasting area to buy and enjoy our fav wines on their beautuful patio. I recomend the Tempranillo or Kick butt! They were grilling outside as well and had cheap but tastey bbq sausage wraps. We got to taste 5 or 6 wines and all were delicious. I recall finding some of these wines at h.e.b. before, but nothing is better than straight from the source! We spent the last of our time admiring the vinyards and hard word they must do keeping this location beautiful. Prob one of my fav stops of all time throughout the 120 winerys now in the area. If you are reading this, def make the right choice and give them a try!
